BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
Baptism Scuba Diving at 12 mt in Ibiza underwater experience
This Official PADI Program consists of a dive at a maximum depth of 12 meters for approximately 35 minutes, under the supervision of our PADI Instructors, with a previous online theory that we invite you to complete using this link.
SCUBA DIVING BOAT TRIP TO UNDERWATER PARADISE

We will embark and navigate to a magnificent location 20 minutes from the port in the North Zone of San Antonio, near Cala Salada, specifically Punta Galera or nearby diving spots, as chosen by our safety scuba diving protocols.
During the boat trip, if you didn’t complete the theory for any reason, no worries about that, our Instructors will give you a theoretical class, they will equip you, and we will arrange small groups.
As we dive into the fantastic underwater world from shallow waters, we will follow the instructors on a circular route. We will be able to observe rockfish, starfish, octopus, anemones, spirographs, and the well-known seaweed, a plant rather than algae, named posidonia oceánica, protected by UNESCO in a unique and wild environment.
We will also carry out, under the supervision of the instructors, a series of basic exercises, such as cleaning the mask and recovering the regulator, which are essential to obtain credits for more advanced courses at our diving centre.
Once we finish the experience, we will return to the boat, and another group will do the experience; meanwhile, you can relax on our deck, sunbathing, swimming, or snorkelling (diving with a mask and a tube). When all groups finish, we will return to the Port in 20 minutes.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

This official PADI scuba diving program for beginners without prior experience is a great way to dive for the first time into another world with autonomous breathing equipment (SCUBA), in a safe and fun way, always supervised by PADI Instructors.
First, we will meet at the meeting point and fill out the medical forms we will give you, which are necessary to practice the activity.
We will set sail, heading to the diving locations (Punta Galera, Cala Salada, and the surrounding areas). We will arrive in about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, the instructors will give you a practical and theoretical class if you did not finish the online theory with the padi e -learning before. This practical and theoretical class covers the equipment we will use, the language of scuba diving signs, and basic diving concepts on our diving boat.
The assistants of the Instructors will adequately equip you. Later, we will organise the groups to dive safely and with fewer divers.
While a group dives with the Instructor’s instructors and assistants, the others who remain on the boat can enjoy practising Snorkelling (diving with a mask and a tube), sunbathing on our sun deck, swimming, or simply relaxing on our fantastic boat.
Once we have to dive, the instructors and assistants will help us enter the water from the back of our school boat without any vicissitudes (such as jumping backwards like James Bond).
Already in the water, the instructors will stay with us and ask how we are. With a simple “Ok” with our hand (which we have previously taught us the language of the signals), we will form the reduced group, diving slowly and progressively, to start the activity in a safe and fun way.
Our PADI Instructors have extensive experience with beginners and will proceed as needed to lend a hand and give the beginner greater confidence and security.
Once the group is flapping towards the bottom, an Instructor will guide the group, and others will confine it, always keeping the debutants’ safety and comfort in mind.
The dive spot is characterised by a rocky area and an area of seaweed, where the colourful marine fauna of the Ibiza Sea coexist in a symbiotic way.

This fauna consists of rockfish, sea stars, octopus, and cuttlefish, along with abundant flora such as anemones and nudibranchs. In addition, the visibility of the dive spot in ideal conditions is about 30 m, and without currents or tides, it is a submarine paradise to enjoy your first experience.
The dive itself consists of a circular underwater route that passes through several habitats, including the UNESCO-protected Posidonia meadows and rocky areas.
After the dive, we will return to the boat, and the next group will proceed to enter the water. Once everyone has finished, we will arrive at the port in about 20 minutes.
This diving program is the best way to upgrade to more advanced diving courses, such as the Scuba Diver or the Open Water, which allows you to dive as a fully certified diver on the 5 continents.
