DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE SUNSET SNORKELING BOAT TRIP IN IBIZA
This magnificent excursion in capital letters is designed for all audiences, from families to couples, it is the ideal activity for those explorers who want to visit the most beautiful, wild and remote places on the coast of Ibiza, be able to swim, snorkel and paddle surf. In the most crystalline waters of the island of Ibiza.
We will sail from the port of San Antonio and head west to the underwater quarry. From there, we will sail to Cala Conta, during approximately 20 minutes of navigation we will be able to observe the majestic beauty of the coast with its coves of pristine waters that if the state of the sea allows it, they will be shown the small caves that this coast has.
1ST SNORKELING STOP AT CALA CONTA BEACH
Once we reach the Cala Conta area, we will anchor in a dream place with turquoise blue waters whose transparency will leave us astonished, giving us the feeling of being in that authentic paradise that we have always sought, and therefore we finally found it.
In this stop of approximately 45 minutes, we can swim, snorkel, paddle surf and of course, relax in this idyllic place of sublime beauty. During the stay, we will be able to observe the majesty of the reserve islands that make up the nature reserves of the west, such as the conejera island and the forest island that is in front of Cala Conta.
These anchorages of blue waters and white sands are home to schools of very curious fish, called Obladas, whose black speck on the tail differentiates them, these fish form large schools that will surround us without touching us and if we put on some snorkelling masks we can attend a beautiful show watching how they swim around us.
After this first stop, we will head towards the Torre des Savinar, erroneously called the Torre del Pirata. This watchtower was used in the past to spot enemy ships or those of the feared Barbary pirates that fiercely ravaged the island, and heading towards Cala Bassa we will sail through the interior of this beautiful cove, where we can see the Cala Bassa caves on our left. And in which we will make a stop in front of the cave and will weigh anchor to anchor in a small bay not far away from where tranquillity even in August it is ensured.
2nd SNORKELING STOP AT CALA BASSA
At this great stop, we can paddle surf and snorkel in crystal clear waters with seabeds in which sand, rocks and Posidonia meadows alternate, and we can observe the varied marine fauna such as octopuses, fish of rock and course, the curious Obladas.
After this last stop for swimming, snorkelling and paddle tennis, we will enter the largest cave on the island of Ibiza with the boat, where we will be able to observe the ceiling and its grandeur during this brief stay in the cave for a few minutes. After this last stop, we will navigate to watch the sunset from Our boat and Cava will be served, at this magical moment the sun will be very close just touching the horizon…after sundown, we will arrive almost at night and with a great experience in our hearts.
