The PADI OPEN WATER<\/strong> course is PADI\u2019s flagship course, allowing you to dive to a depth of 18 meters<\/strong> without the supervision of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, or Instructor<\/strong> and to rent diving equipment on all five continents.<\/p>

    Description of the PADI Open Water Diver Course in Ibiza<\/h3>

    The PADI Open Water Course<\/strong> is the first step<\/strong> to diving safely and under international diving standards<\/strong> in an incredible underwater world. The theory is completed online<\/strong>, while the practical training takes place with us over three mornings from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.<\/strong><\/p>

    PADI Open Water Course Online Theory<\/h3>

    This includes the five theoretical modules<\/strong> from the Open Water manual, supported by video sessions and exercises<\/strong> at the end of each section. Once the theory is completed, you will take an exam<\/strong> (99% of students pass). Before starting pool or confined water<\/strong> training, you must complete the knowledge review up to section 3.<\/p>

    PADI Open Water Course Practical Training<\/h3>

    Pool\/Confined Water Dive:<\/strong><\/p>

    • 5 sessions<\/strong> in a pool or confined water (a bay approximately 2 meters deep<\/strong>) where the instructor will teach you how to use your equipment.<\/li>
    • You will practice skills such as buoyancy control with the vest, mask removal underwater, and regulator recovery<\/strong>, as well as other essential exercises to ensure a safe and effective response in real situations<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>

      Open Water Dives:<\/strong><\/p>

      • 4 supervised dives<\/strong> in open water<\/strong>, reaching a maximum depth of 18 meters<\/strong> in the final two dives.<\/li>

        Diving Course Duration<\/h3>

        The course duration depends on your availability and learning ability<\/strong>, but it requires at least 3 days<\/strong> to complete, as outlined below:<\/p>

          • We send you the access codes<\/strong> for the online platform<\/strong> so you can read up to section 3<\/strong> and complete the knowledge review or, if preferred, finish all the theory online.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
