This scuba diving course is for complete beginners. The <\/span>Open Water Diver course in Ibiza<\/strong> teaches you all the basics of scuba diving over 3\/4 mornings. It will allow you to obtain a <\/span>scuba certification<\/strong>\u00a0to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 m.<\/span><\/p>

The PADI Open Water Course is structured in theory online with the PADI e-learning platform and the practical dives that you will do with us in 3 days.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Theory and practical Dives<\/span><\/h2>

1. Theory of the Open Water Diver Course in Ibiza<\/h2>

You will complete\u00a0all five sections of the PADI Open Water Manual at the PADI e-Learning platform at any time you like, and everywhere you are<\/strong>, including learning to use a Dive computer for planning your dives.<\/p>

At the end of each chapter, there is a \u201cknowledge review\u201d to ensure that you have understood the information. Your instructor will assist you with this and administer a short quiz and a final exam. This is not meant to test you; all the questions are multiple choice, and it is to ensure that you understand the information. If there are any gaps in your knowledge, your instructor will ensure that you understand before moving on.<\/p>

2. Practical dives of the Open Water Diver Course in Ibiza<\/h2>

2.1 Afternoon Confined dives (3 hours approx.) at 3 pm in our diving centre<\/h3>

Your instructor will demonstrate basic scuba skills to you in either a swimming pool or shallow bay, which you will then practice. Only once these skills have been mastered will you move on to Open Water training. You will complete the 5 confined water sessions\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

2.2\u00a0 Four Open water dives\u00a0 ( in 2 mornings at 9:00 am till 1:30 pm)<\/h3>

Once you have mastered all the skills in shallow water,\u00a0your instructor will take you on 4 dives in 2 mornings<\/strong> to a maximum depth of 12m (for the first two dives) and 18 m (for the second two dives), where some skills will be repeated in deeper water to ensure that you are fully confident. After these, your instructor will guide you around the underwater world, showing you the sites that exist below the surface!<\/p>

A detailed description of the Padi Open Water Course<\/strong><\/h2>

If you want to be a qualified diver, this is the scuba diving course you are looking for, as it prepares you to dive up to 18 meters depth on 5 continents, rent equipment and dive without the presence of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor, as it trains you to dive on your own but always with a buddy.<\/strong><\/p>

This course is eminently practical, with a theory part and a final exam, together with practical training.<\/p>

The part of the theory can be done on your own online through the PADI Platform and learning.<\/p>

The online theory is around 8 hr approx.<\/strong><\/h2>

The theory is totally necessary to be able to train you as a qualified diver, because you will learn with the help of our instructors the concepts that you will put into practice. Confined and open water sessions will help you to develop the activity safely and under PADI standards.<\/p>

The theory of the Open Water course has 5 very well-explained sections. At the end of each section, there is a review of knowledge to evaluate the evolution of your learning. Any questions you have can be asked of the instructor assigned to you.<\/p>

Online theory of the PADI OPEN WATER DIVER<\/strong><\/h2>

Section One:\u00a0<\/strong>Being a Diver (Part I), basics of diving, diving equipment, care, and abilities in diving (Part I), the language of diving signals, along with technical procedures about practical exercises with your equipment such as the recovery of the regulator, clearing, mask management of air, descend and equalize the ears, all this theory will be implemented in the pool or confined water (small bay 2 mt of max depth) with a PADI Instructor.<\/p>

Section Two<\/strong>: Being a Diver (Part II), the experience of diving, how it affects your senses, mastery of buoyancy, diving equipment (Part II), abilities in diving (Part II), all this theoretical part will be practised in the pool or confined waters with the PADI Instructor.<\/p>

Section three:\u00a0<\/strong>Being a Diver (part III), environments and conditions in diving, evaluation of diving conditions, types of diving and coastal phenomena to be taken into account, entry, exit, and dive planning procedures. Problem Management and diving equipment (part III).<\/p>

Section four:\u00a0<\/strong>Diving equipment (Part IV), Being a Diver (Part IV), use of the dive computer and dive tables (Part I), dive planning, skills as a diver (Part IV)<\/p>

Section five:\u00a0<\/strong>Use of the computer and dive tables (part II), be a diver (part V), skills as a diver (Part V)<\/p>

The practice of the PADI OPEN WATER COURSE<\/strong><\/h2>

Pool \/ Confined Water (3 hr min approx.) <\/strong>Once finished with the theory up to section 3, we will perform 5 practical modules in the pool, or in confined waters where the Instructor will teach you the functionality of your equipment, you will perform exercises such as controlling your buoyancy with the vest, taking off the mask under the water and the regulator, along with more complex exercises that will provide you with the knowledge of a safe and adequate response in any situations.<\/p>

Open water dives ( two different mornings, 2 dives\/day).<\/strong><\/p>

You take two supervised open water dives to a maximum depth of 12 m and 2 other dives going down to 18 m, where you practice the exercises learned in the confined water section and apply the theory into practice at sea under the supervision of our PADI instructors.<\/p>

Finally, we must emphasise that the learning curve of each one is different, and therefore the times are approximate.<\/strong><\/p>
