PADI requires you to have at least 10 years to become a PADI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver certificate. 10 yr and 11 yr old should dive with their father, certified guardian or PADI professional up to a maximum depth of 40 feet. From 12 yr to 14 yrs old they must dive with a certified adult. At age 15, the junior certification improvements to a regular Open Water Diver certification.
The certification by a PADI Instructor shows you the knowledge of diving, so that you can develop the activity with total safety and comfort. Your PADI diving certification card is a proof that you have approved the diving course. Without diving certification ,you will not be able to dive in any dive center. If you do not have a PADI diving card (for any reason), any PADI dive center can check in the system that you are a PADI certified diver.
Your PADI diving certification does not expire. It is highly recommended that you have practice. Padi recommends doing a scuba review if you have not dived from 6 months ago, with us you can perform this reminder diving class.
