Wonderful trip with friends 13 girls went on a paddleboarding, snorkeling 3 hours boat trip. Mike in the booking office reserved a top deck seats for us. More people sat downstairs but joined us later upstairs. Miquel on the boat was very friendly and made the trip special for us. Great music, not too loud, so smaller children and families didnt mind.Boat had a toilet on board. Had some fruit and biscuits which were shared on the boat, but bring probably some own. Plenty of soft drinks, water, beer and sangria provided. The trip itself was amazing, beautiful scenery, water was crystal clear. About 10 paddle boards, and as we stopped twice, people took turns to have a go. Had life vests for smaller children who were nervous about swimming. Also had pool noodles who made floating when snorkeling easy. Jumping was allowed from the top deck or end of the boat.We didnt go on a beach, But the boat anchored near the beaches in a cove… and swam there (no need to go to the beach…)Miguel also took many photos,of our group in the water, which he then send us via whatsapp.
Sailing from the bustling Sant Antoni towards Conillera Island, near Punta de Sa Torre we find a small islet.
Sailing from the bustling Sant Antoni towards Conillera Island, near Punta de Sa Torre we find a small islet.
It is a small rocky area of the coast between San Antonio and San Miguel. In this area of cliffs we find.
Ses Margalides is located in the northern part of the island, near Cabo Negret. The closest port is San Antonio.
Bledas is located 6.6 miles west of the port of San Antonio and 15 minutes by boat from the island of Conejera.
La Aguja is located in the southeast of the island of Es Vedrá. It is an underwater reef that emerges from 45 meters to the surface.
This is the name given to the underwater mountain that, approximately one mile to the NW of Es Vedrà, rises in the middle of the sea.
It is located in a northerly direction, 1 mile from Cala Salada, with a very beautiful dive with the remains of a wreck at 35 m.
The waters of Ibiza are characterized by being crystalline, without strong currents or tides, their average temperature ranges from 14 ° C/ 57 F in February to 26 ° C/ 79 F maximum in August, if we take as a base in which months the average sea temperature It is above 20 ° C/ 68 F, this is true from May until the end of October.
The sea waters of Ibiza have a visibility of nearly 25 mt in ideal conditions, as you must know the visibility depends on many factors, but one of the key points of the dives is, this large visibility not achieved in other diving destinations by far.
Your fantastic million-dollar question can only be answered by the prevailing weather conditions on a specific day and a few days before, since the conditions of the sea cannot always be predicted really well in advance, but if we consult the historical series of the dominance winds on the island of Ibiza through the wind rose provided by Port Authority, as a rule from May to November, the prevailing winds are from the East, so the West coast is the most suitable place to dive with good conditions in general in summer.
The Ibizan coast is characterized by having a large extension of oceanic posidonia being this meadow one of the few organisms protected by Unesco.
Many divers mistakenly think that it is a simple seaweed meadow, this organism itself is an ecosystem of vital importance in the reproductive phases of the fish because they are hidden there by their predators meanwhile they grow, at the same time it can be found depleted colonies in extinction of nacras ( pinna nobilis).
Already in rocky bottoms we will be able to see groupers, congers, scorpion fish, moray Eels, and the elegant San Pedro of sizes according to the depth due to the anthropogenic pressure. We must think that numerous crustaceans live on our coast, from the famous Ibiza crayfish to the common lobster, the latter at high depths or at accessible depths in undocumented locations and away from population areas and anchorages.
All tariffs DO NOT INCLUDE the compulsory diving insurance, in case of not having it, we can and must issue a daily insurance for 7 € on board.
Before booking, email us to verify it, and we will reply you asap.
If you are PADI or SSI we can check it on line, if your diving licence belongs to other agency, notify to them to send you a proven email of your certification.
